Terms of Service

Effective 1 august 2026 · Version 1.0

This document is provided in English; the English version governs.

This document contains bracketed placeholder values and is pending final legal review.

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], registered at [COMPANY REGISTERED ADDRESS] (company number [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER]) (“Saaty”, “we”, “us”). They govern your access to and use of the Saaty booking platform — our websites, mobile applications, APIs, and related services (together, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, which form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business, and “you” includes that business. Businesses that process their customers’ personal data through the Platform are also bound by our Data Processing Addendum.

2. What Saaty is (and is not)

Saaty is a booking and scheduling platform. We enable service businesses (salons, spas, and other appointment-based providers — “Businesses”) to publish their services and availability, and enable their customers (“Customers”) to discover, book, manage, and review those services.

The services you book are provided by the Business, not by Saaty. Saaty is not a party to the service agreement between a Business and its Customer, does not employ Business staff, and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of the underlying services. Any dispute about a service must be resolved between the Customer and the Business, though we may assist where we reasonably can.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or older where local law requires) to create an account. Booking on behalf of a minor is permitted where you are their parent or legal guardian.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and sign-in email secure.
  • Accounts can be created with a password, via Google or Facebook sign-in, via SMS code, or passwordlessly through an emailed magic link. Whichever path you use, account creation constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.

4. Bookings, cancellations, and no-shows

When you book through the Platform, you enter into an agreement with the Business for the selected service at the displayed time and price. Each Business sets its own cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and no-show policies; these are shown during booking and prevail over any general statement in these Terms to the extent they concern the underlying service.

  • Bookings are confirmed by the Business, and confirmation is communicated on the Platform and/or by email or SMS.
  • You can manage bookings from your account or through the secure manage-booking link sent with your confirmation.
  • Prices are set by the Business. Unless stated otherwise they include applicable indirect taxes at the displayed rate.
  • Consumer withdrawal rights: where you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts generally do not apply to services scheduled for a specific date or time (leisure/appointment services), but nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory rights, including rights concerning defective services.

5. Payments

Where online payment is offered, payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). Saaty does not store full card numbers. The Business is the merchant of record for the services you purchase unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. Refunds follow the Business’s stated refund policy and applicable consumer law.

6. Business accounts

If you use the Platform as a Business, you additionally agree that you will:

  • only publish services, prices, availability, and content that are accurate, lawful, and that you are entitled to offer;
  • hold all licenses, registrations, and insurance required to provide your services;
  • honor bookings and prices confirmed through the Platform and apply your cancellation and refund policies fairly and in accordance with consumer law;
  • comply with the Data Processing Addendum with respect to Customer personal data you control;
  • be responsible for the acts of your staff members and for the permissions you grant them on the Platform;
  • pay applicable subscription and transaction fees, which are presented at purchase. Fees may change with at least 30 days’ notice, taking effect at your next billing cycle.

7. Reviews and user content

You may submit content such as reviews, photos, profile information, and business descriptions (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content and grant Saaty a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience; incentivized, fabricated, or defamatory reviews are prohibited. We may moderate, remove, or decline to publish User Content that violates these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Saaty or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works of the Platform except as permitted by law.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have — including access, correction, deletion, and data portability. Cookie use is described in the Cookie Policy.

10. Availability and changes to the Platform

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where the change materially affects you. We may make emergency changes without notice where necessary for security or legal compliance.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Saaty does not warrant the accuracy of Business listings, availability calculations, or any content submitted by users. Nothing in this section limits warranties or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the laws of your country of residence.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) Saaty is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data; and (b) Saaty’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid to Saaty in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you reside.

13. Indemnity

If you are a Business, you will indemnify and hold Saaty harmless from third-party claims arising out of the services you provide, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms — except to the extent the claim was caused by Saaty’s own breach or negligence.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time from your account settings (Account → Privacy). We may suspend or terminate your access for material or repeated breach of these Terms, for legal compliance, or if the Platform is discontinued; where reasonable we will give you prior notice and a chance to export your data. Sections that by their nature survive termination (including 7, 8, 11–13, and 16) survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in-product notice, and the new version will apply from its stated effective date. Each version carries a version number; your acceptance is recorded when you create an account and when you re-accept an updated version. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the Platform before it takes effect.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW JURISDICTION], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes will be resolved by [COURT / ARBITRATION VENUE], except that consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their home country. EU consumers may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.

17. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder stays in force.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to you.
  • These Terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between you and Saaty regarding the Platform.
